Student Congress Weekly Update

Here's a look at what was discussed at this weeks Student Congress meeting.

The Environmental Committee: Bottomless to-go cups are available at Lakeside. This is in time for Green Week this week. Stu-Co will have their own team in Human and Planetary Health Society's Recycling War and everyone is encouraged to create a team.

The Community Development Committee: Students can expect to see a charging station in Perry Campus Center over the next week. Congress will also be making a proposal for an ice machine for next year.

The Food Committee: "Taste of the Globe" event begins this week in the cafeteria over lunch hours. Meals are based on where Doane international students are from. The committee is also proposing a meal plan for off-campus students for the 2019-2020 academic school year.

2019-2020 President and Vice President election will be held April 16 and 17 during lunch and dinner

2019-2020 Senator elections will be April 23 and 24 during lunch and dinner.

Student Organization Information: Standard Allocations meeting will be April 28 at 10:00 a.m.
